Andrew Cummins, Project Manager
Andrew Cummins, a native from Morgan Hill, graduated from Live Oak High School in 2005 and then went on to obtain a BS in Business Management from San Jose State in 2010. Andrew first joined the Giacalone Design team in early 2014 as a Gas Estimator at which time he was responsible for designing and estimating the Gas utility layouts for a wide range of project developments throughout Northern CA. He then moved into our Electric Design department where he began to learn about electric systems and designs including transformer box layouts and Rule-20 overhead to underground conversions. His excellent work ethic and ability to learn quickly soon landed him in the position of Assistant Project Manager to Brett Fullington. With the guidance and experience of Brett, Andrew has learned the ins and outs of the Joint Trench Utility industry as well as the applicant design coordination process. In 2016, Andrew was once again promoted to Project Manager. Although Andrew is early in his career, his hard working attitude and team player mentality as well as his combined knowledge of the gas and electric departments has proven him very capable of providing detailed-oriented, cost-effective joint trench utility plans as well as quality service to our customers.
